The Australian gym chain, under the ownership of Fitness & Lifestyle Group, has just opened a brand-new A$8M flagship location in Melbourne with a refreshed aesthetic.
Catering to the rising interest in comprehensive wellness, the club introduced Revive—a 250-square-meter recovery area that includes amenities like infrared saunas, cold therapy, massage guns, and compression boots.
Based on user feedback, favorite features will be integrated into the brand's 50 other locations.
Enhancing capabilities further, Fitness First offers a Techogym-outfitted gym floor alongside four specialized boutique studio spaces, featuring their own Pilates program called Reform.
This is also Australia's first location to offer Les Mills Ceremony, a functional strength training class, located in a PLAE-designed performance space.
The key takeaway is that the fitness landscape is evolving, and clubs must innovate to stay relevant.
Similar to Life Time’s longevity clinics, Love.Life's recovery memberships, and David Lloyd’s wellness initiatives, Fitness First’s flagship marks a new wave of innovation in the industry.
