May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Fitness First is emphasizing the crucial link between physical fitness and mental well-being.

Leading this initiative is Ivana Sargic, Head of Fitness at Fitness First and an expert in health and wellness.

"Mental health is as essential as physical fitness," states Ivana Sargic. "At Fitness First, we advocate for three core pillars for our members’ overall well-being:

 movement, rest, and healthy eating. These pillars serve as natural mood enhancers, crucial for both mental and physical health.

Movement

Regular physical activity is a powerful way to lower stress, boost your mood, and enhance sleep quality.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, Fitness First is hosting various activities centered on mental health and well-being.

"Our primary focus is preventing individuals from needing medical treatment," says Sargic.
