How long is your ideal workout?

Bookings are now open for the Hyrox Cruise, a four day training and racing experience built around structured workouts, recovery and community on board 4 in October 2026.

Alongside the cruise, Hyrox has also announced deeper partnerships with Canadian gym operator GoodLife Fitness and electric vehicle brand Lucid, underlining how fast fitness racing is maturing as a global business.

What is Hyrox Experiences?

Hyrox Experiences is the brand’s new travel and events arm, created to package training camps, destination events and now cruises for its growing community of athletes.

Rather than focusing only on race day, Hyrox Experiences sells a full journey that includes:

  • Purpose built training environments

  • Coaching from top Hyrox athletes and performance staff

  • Nutrition support that matches training loads

  • Planned recovery, wellness and social activity

The move taps into the rapid growth of fitness tourism, where people build holidays around training blocks, races and active experiences instead of traditional resort breaks.

Inside the first Hyrox Cruise

Route and dates

The inaugural Hyrox Cruise will run in October 2026 as a four night Mediterranean itinerary on 4. The ship will sail from Palma de Mallorca, visit Marseille and Barcelona, then return to Palma.

The ship is fully chartered for Hyrox, turning it into a floating training campus for several thousand athletes and fans.

Training and on board experience

On board, guests can expect:

  • Daily Hyrox style training blocks built around the sport’s mix of running and functional stations

  • Sessions led by elite athletes and specialist coaches

  • A nutrition offering tailored to performance and recovery

  • Structured recovery options using the ship’s spa and wellness facilities

  • Panel talks, Q&A sessions and educational workshops on training, mindset and race prep

  • A new format Hyrox race featuring invited athletes, giving guests a close up look at top level competition

Outside the gym, the cruise is designed to feel like a holiday, with time to enjoy decks, entertainment and shore excursions while staying locked into a clear training goal.

Hyrox’s global growth in numbers

Hyrox has evolved from a niche European event to a global fitness race format that combines eight 1 km runs with eight functional workout stations.

Key growth markers include:

  • Standardised race format in arenas worldwide, allowing athletes to compare times globally

  • Events now operating across more than 30 countries, with rapid expansion in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific

  • Participation that has risen from tens of thousands of athletes to hundreds of thousands annually, with organisers projecting around 1.3 million participants across the 2025 to 2026 season

This scale gives Hyrox Experiences a large, highly engaged community of potential cruise and camp customers who already train specifically for the race format.

If you are preparing for Hyrox style fitness challenges, GymNation’s functional training zones and CrossHiit classes provide the blend of running, strength and conditioning that mirrors race demands.

GoodLife Fitness: deepening the Canadian connection

Hyrox has extended its relationship with GoodLife Fitness, naming the Canadian operator title sponsor for Hyrox Canada through to 2030.

The agreement includes:

  • Title sponsorship of Canadian races and support for new events planned in Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal

  • Dedicated lounges and activations for GoodLife members at events

  • Sponsorship of athlete communications, pre race check in, rankings, result services and finisher certificates

  • Launch of Hyrox Training Clubs in 25 GoodLife locations in 2026, with further clubs to follow

For GoodLife, the partnership is positioned as a way to give members a clear performance target and access to a fast growing sport. For Hyrox, it offers club based training infrastructure, consistent branding across a large national network and access to a broad member base.

Lucid partnership: performance meets electric mobility

Hyrox has also announced its first European automotive partnership with Lucid, the California based electric vehicle manufacturer.

The collaboration debuted at the Fitness First Hyrox Frankfurt race and will feature Lucid vehicles at all remaining events in the 2025 to 2026 DACH season.

For Lucid, the tie in is about placing its performance focused EVs in front of a younger, health conscious audience as it grows its European presence. For Hyrox, the partnership brings premium brand alignment, additional event experience content and commercial support for continued expansion.

What this means for operators, brands and athletes

Hyrox’s new Experiences business and cruise concept highlight several wider trends:

  1. Fitness as travel, not just training

    • Athletes increasingly plan holidays around training camps, races and destination events instead of separating fitness and travel.Standardised competition as a retention tool

    • Clubs that partner with Hyrox or run Hyrox inspired programming can give members a clear, measurable goal that supports long term retention.

  2. Brand ecosystems around events

    • Partnerships with operators like GoodLife and consumer brands like Lucid show how fitness races can anchor broader marketing, product and community strategies.

For everyday athletes, this expansion means more routes into the sport, from local training clubs and gym based prep to destination experiences such as the cruise.

If you want to build Hyrox ready strength and conditioning in a supportive gym environment, explore GymNation membership options and pair group classes with structured endurance work.
