Abu Dhabi Showdown Week 2024 is set to bring excitement to the UAE capital, with the debut of Power Slap, an initiative by UFC President Dana White, marking its first international appearance at the Space 42 arena in Al Raha on Thursday, October 24.
The main event in Abu Dhabi will showcase a face-off between legends in the sport.
The reigning Super Heavyweight Champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian, boasting a 15-1 record with 13 KOs, will defend his title against the top contender, Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii.
What’s Happening at Showdown Week?
As part of the thrilling UFC Showdown Week celebrations this October, one of the world's biggest pop bands, the Backstreet Boys, will perform in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, October 23, at the Etihad Arena. Tickets are available starting at Dhs325.
UFC 308 Updates
Recently, a packed fight card was announced for UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi.
Scheduled at the Etihad Arena on October 26, the event will feature a fiercely competitive featherweight match between champion Ilia Topuria and second-ranked Max Holloway.
The co-main event will have No.3 ranked Robert Whittaker facing Khamzat Chimaev, representing the UAE, in a five-round bout.
Additional thrilling matches at the Etihad Arena include Ciryl Gane versus Alexander Volkov in a heavyweight duel, and Dagestani Magomed Ankalaev taking on Aleksandar Rakic in the light heavyweight category. Tickets start at Dhs800.
