Homegrown fitness brand, GymNation, has been crowned the “Best Gym In The UAE’ in a recent public vote held by Virgin Radio’s The Kris Fade Show.  GymNation received 51 per cent of the 70,000+ total votes, with Fitness First coming in second with 21 per cent and Crank  coming in third with 8% per cent.

Last weeks competition, was part of the show’s ‘The Best In The UAE’ series to find and celebrate the best brands and operators across a series of categories, with public votes submitted via the Virgin Radio Instagram and website page.

GymNation was founded less than 3 years ago, in 2018, and following the immediate success of their flagship branch on Sheikh Zayed Road, which grew to 10,000 members in under twelve months, the homegrown brand has rapidly expanded to seven facilities with over 45,000 members across the UAE. The opening of the next GymNation location in Downtown Dubai in summer will see GymNation surpass 50,000 members and become the largest operator in the UAE.

Loren Holland, Founder and CEO of GymNation said: “Everyone at GymNation is extremely proud to have been voted by the UAE public as “The Best Gym In The UAE.” Thank you to everyone who voted and congratulations to all of the finalists.

“Since opening the first GymNation location in 2018, we have strived to be a key part of the communities in which we operate. This award confirms our positioning as The People’s Gym, as we have made fitness affordable and accessible for everyone.

“2020 proved challenging for the global fitness industry, but despite all the challenges we opened six new GymNation locations. 2021 will continue to be another year of growth for us as we plan to open five more UAE based gyms. We also have plans for our first international expansion to neighbouring GCC countries. It’s an exciting time for the GymNation team and the industry as a whole.”
