In fact, nearly a third of their members are first-time gym users who are only just starting on their health and fitness journey.

GymNation are passionate in supporting everybody towards their health and fitness goals, whatever they are, whilst keeping costs low at no sacrifice to quality. This is why they offer affordable, flexible memberships that keep you in control as you embark on your training journey. Theirs are some of the largest gym facilities in the UAE, with state-of-the-art Matrix gym equipment. They also offer virtual, on-demand classes, giving you a degree of flexibility over your training and allowing you to take back control.

It is a perfect place to go if you’re looking to shake up your life and begin to put your fitness first.

GymNation

GymNation work hard to make sure everybody in the UAE has an affordable and welcoming gym option with the best fitness classes on offer: they even go so far as to call themselves ‘the peoples’ gym’.

With this in mind, there are some specific ways you can make them most out of their venues and the spirit of inclusivity that they cultivate to help yourself to put your fitness first.

  1. Get down there regularly

If you want to put your fitness first, then you need to put in the time and get active. GymNation’s venues are open 24/7/365, meaning that you can work out to your own schedule whilst making the most out of everything their venues have to offer.

Try for 3 sessions per week, clocking in an hour or so at a time. If this is too much for your schedule, or if you simply prefer shorter workouts, their accessibility will allow you to break it down into as many visits as you want, whenever you want. Go for half an hour five or six days per week, or even 20 minutes every day!

The goal is to hit around 150 minutes of physical activity per week.

  1. Mix things up- they offer a lot of different styles and classes on offer

Given the variety of classes and equipment that GymNation venues offer (over 200!), these 150 minutes could look very different person to person; for you, as an individual, they could look incredibly eclectic. Try going for a mixture of styles, if you want. Enjoy the cardiovascular health benefits of steady state training on their world leading cardio equipment. Build some muscle in their weights areas and work on mobility and flexibility with some yoga in their daily classes. Push and build your cardiovascular fitness by taking part in more challenging activities boxing or aerobics.

Variation will keep you from getting bored and uninspired, whilst giving you all the benefits of multiple disciplines, and GymNation will facilitate it all.

  1. Set some achievable, worthwhile goals

This is true of any fitness setting: don’t go to the gym with just the wishy-washy goal of ‘getting in shape.’ Don’t try to ‘tone up.’ Instead, set up some reasonable, measurable goals.

If you want to get ‘fit’, work out what this means to you. Does it mean being able to swim thirty lengths, or does it mean being able to squat 300kg? If you’re looking for aesthetics and you want to look ‘toned’, work out whether you need to lose body fat or bulk up and build muscle. Then work out what you need to do to make this happen.

GymNation’s facilities are amazing, but you will only get out of them what you put in: make sure your energies are well directed.

If you’re struggling here, try chatting to their friendly gym staff, or, alternatively…

  1. Get help from one of their personal trainers

Though it can take a bit of investments, it’s always good to take on a personal trainer. Even if it’s just for the first couple of months when you’re beginning your training at GymNation, a personal trainer will be able to show you the ropes, help you to work out what you want from your training experience, and put you on the right path to putting your fitness first in a constructive manner.

GymNation have some of the best personal trainers, coaches and gym staff in the UAE: lean on them for their knowledge and become a more efficient athlete for it.
