From Fitness Trainer to Multi-Million Gym Owner: The Journey of Cyrus Rustom

After serving five years with the British Navy’s Royal Marines Commandos, Cyrus Rustom has accumulated 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, transitioning from a personal trainer to the owner of a gym that now generates Dh4 million annually.

Dubai Transformation: The Rise of Cyrus Rustom

For Cyrus Rustom, a 38-year-old former British military commando, maintaining fitness was a crucial part of his previous job.

However, reflecting on his journey, he realizes that a near-fatal accident was the turning point that led him to pursue a career in fitness and eventually become an entrepreneur.

“In 2006, I was caught between two military trucks in Afghanistan and suffered severe skull and joint injuries.

I spent two weeks in intensive care and another six weeks recovering in a hospital in Oman,” Rustom recounted when asked about his motivation to enter the world of entrepreneurship.

The Accident That Changed Everything

This harrowing experience not only reinforced his commitment to fitness but also spurred him to transition into a full-time career in the industry, ultimately leading to the success he enjoys today.
